The company I work for is looking to fill a vacant network engineering
position.
The job is located in Troy, MI, with occasional travel to healthcare
customer sites across the country. There is an on-call aspect to this
position, supporting 24/7 operations, with a 1-week-out-of-5 rotation.
It's more of a security oriented position than it is traditional routing
and switch, where firewall and IDS/IPS configuration will be a large
part of it.
I can say that it's been a great place to work at, benefits are pretty
good (we even offer domestic partner bennies), and with a good working
environment. I can say that the teams I work with are capable,
professional, and fun to work with.
Skills and experiences we're looking for:
A solid foundation in routing and switching in a mixed
UNIX/Windows/mainframe environment, (Cisco highly preferred, Cisco
certifications extremely preferred)
Cisco ASA platform configuration and deployment, Cisco SSM IDS/IPS
configuration. (both are pretty much a requirement). VPN configuration
experience is essential.
Application load balancer experience, preferentially Netscaler load
balancers.
Healthcare IT operations experience preferred, though not required.
Security operations experience, including audits, pentesting and
intrusion detection and prevention. CISSP, GIAC or SANS certs a plus.
Bachelor's degree in MIS/IT/CompSci/CompEng or equivalent professional
experience.
Please respond DIRECTLY to my email address (not the list) with a resume
in PDF or Word format.
Thanks!
