Hi all,

I was wondering if there is a way to edit graphs outside of
Hyperniche. Im assuming not from what I've read under the help, but my
advisor was wondering if it would be possible for me to send her some
kind of excel spread sheets so she could plot the graphs and customize
them herself.

Thanks!

Katie, the data behind the graphs are always available to the user in
HyperNiche, either in the result file or within the graphing module
or both. For the later, use "File | Save data for graph as... |
"(then you can choose a spreadsheet). For the former, copy/paste the
relevant section of the result file into a spreadsheet, then use
Tools | Text to columns | fixed width parse into separate columns.

You can also edit graphs after the fact by saving as a *.jpg or *.bmp
and editing with PhotoShop or similar programs.

Having said that, HyperNiche has lots of graph formatting options,
more than most people realize -- you just need to poke around in the
Options | Preferences dialogs. Very often when someone wants to move
a graph into other software, they don't realize that they can do what
they want within HyperNiche.

On the other hand, if you have specific needs that aren't met by the
software, you should send an email to the technical help address to
lobby for the features you need.

Thanks Bruce.

That was more than a vivid explaining of the subject.

Cheers.
