Alexander Ratushnyak updated his previous Hutter prize submission: decmprs8, replacing decomp8b. I verified that the program will output enwik8 from a program + archive of size 15,949,688 bytes on my laptop in 7608 seconds using 936 MB memory. The test machine was a Gateway M-7301U laptop with 2.0 GHz dual core Pentium T3200 (1MB L2 cache), 3 GB RAM, Vista SP1, 32 bit. Memory usage was checked with Windows Task Manager near the end of decompression.

The submission was May 23, 2009. The 30 day public comment period ends June 22.
