I'm selling my Orca hurdy gurdy made by HurdyGurdy.com
Contact me if your interested. The instrument was built in 2007 and has
been kept indoors in a climate controlled house, non-smoking, and it's in
excellent condition. It sits for a year between playing times, so I think
it should go to a home where it is played more often. Even when it sits in
its custom case for a year, it always fires up and requires little to no
tuning before playing.
Hi, ya'll, Anyone in the Oxford, England area up for helping a woman with her gurdy? It sounds like it needs some TLC and she doesn't have the skill to get it playing again. Her name is Kate Rose and she's one of my Facebook friends.
Can she get to the gurdy weekend in Otley, West Yorkshire 24th / 25th November? There will be at least one maker there, and lots of willing players! She can contact me on Facebook (Andy Carter, picture of me +my blue gurdy) for further details. (I'm not involved in the organisation, but I know who is!)
Cheers
Andy

Hi, ya'll,
Anyone in the Oxford, England area up for helping a woman with her gurdy? It sounds like it needs some TLC and she doesn't have the skill to get it playing again. Her name is Kate Rose and she's one of my Facebook friends.
Thanks!

If she can get to the Audlem Bagpipe and hurdy Gurdy day on the 10th November I would be more than willing to help. I know it's not particularly near Oxford, but not too far up the motorway.
