Hello!

Megprobaltam a kernelt frissiteni 2.2.16 -> 2.4.2 -re.
A Chip CD-n csucsult az uj kernel.
Kibontottam a /usr/src konyvtarba.
-make menuconfig
-make dep
-make bzImage
-make modules
-make modules install

Latszolag hiba nelkul ment a dolog, a keletkezett
bzImage filet atmasoltam a /boot-ba, majd lilo.cong
es lilo.

Boot utan egy csomo hibauzenettel indult, hogy a /lib/2.4.2
konyvtarat nem talalja. Nos ilyen nem is vala.
Tudja valaki, hogy mit csinaltam rosszul?

Nem modules install, hanem modules_install
A dep után meg nem árt a clean.
Nekem így ment.
(Valószínulet a modules_install hiánya okozza nem létezo lib könyvtárat :))

Sajnos nem. A levelben irtam rosszul.
A modules_install sem ok.

Illetve ha "régi" a modutils csomagja...
Ezzel én is szívtam eleget... ha a make modules_install nem fut le rendesen,
elősször a modutils-t frissítsd le/fel/meg!

ha tenyleg azt irtad amit ide a levlistara, akkor a make modules
install-nal a modules meg az install koze kellett
volna egy "_" jelet tenned:

make modules_install

mert igy a make aszitte hogy make modules; make install parancsot kapott.
