Normally, for our purposes, a .com is a domain. However, a .com is
also a program file (.exe, .com, etc.).
Now, do you see why the Hotmail filter would confuse a .com with a
program file? Because: 1. it is in file format, and 2. a .com file
sent as an email attachment is almost ALWAYS going to be some kind of
virus. Just not in this case. But Hotmail is going to err on the side
of caution.
