The book, Winning The Unwinnable War: America's Self-Crippled Response
to Islamic Totalitarianism, edited by Elan Journo, and with chapters
by contributing authors; Yaron Brook and Alex Epstein, is an
outstanding analysis of America's foreign policy misdealing with the
Middle East.

The true nature of the enemy America is up against is explained
better, and more briefly, in this book than in all of the eight books
about the Middle East that I have read from Ayn Rand Bookstore
endorsements. The major, U.S. policy responses to the Middle East
threat are analyzed and refuted through criticism of: the "Forward
Strategy", "Just War Theory", and "Neoconservatism". The book ends
with an appraisal of the current situation, and offers recommendations
for how to proceed from here to victory.

Through reading this book, I was challenged in realizing how misguided
I had been over the three years, or so, that I blogged on
international issues. We Americans must wage war with rational *self-
interest* at our core, while dedicating ourselves to practical action
that leads to swift victory. Having found my passion in blogging
about medicine economics, I do not see myself as continuing to be very
involved in international politics and America's war. However, those
who do take on this responsibility really need to read Winning The
Unwinnable War if they are to avoid the missteps that I, and so many
others, have made.

How libertarians, fools at ARI, and whiteness-guilted Americans sought
a disastrous Democrat controlled Congress in 2006 and a socialist
buffoonish President in 2008. That "unwinnable war" that was won?
