John McCain was known as John McNasty by his schoolmates because of
his hotheaded temper even back then. He is known for going into wild
profanity laced tirades to his Senate colleagues, Republican and
Democrats alike on the receiving end. He has managed to control his
temper pretty much so far on the campaign trail, but here's a link to
a photo and analysis that shows that his anger seethes not too far
