a latin sentence of the 9th century

Please help me to translate the following latin sentences:"sed de
primo ditationis flore pene adnullata et concussa habetur.Nam
quindecim milium mansuum ex eo amplius abadia(=abbatia) haec viguit,
sed modo nec de unium miliarii decimam habere probamus. Unde
concutitur die cotidie, et quassatur undique, interius et exterius, et
a pravis hominibus opprimitur, ut nec ipsa paupertas rerum ibi
dimittatur."

Note:mansus=manor or manorial holding.

Is it possible to translate the word "decimam" as a tenth, not as
tithe ?

Here's my best effort. I'm sure that "decimam" means tithe:

But since its first flower of riches it is now nearly destroyed and
shattered.

For with fifteen thousand households the abbey once flourished more grandly,
but now we cannot manage to have the tithes of one thousand.

So it is shaken every day and and is smitten on all sides, within and
without, and is oppressed by evil men, so that not even that poor minimum of
things is left behind.
