Corrupt eblend in hugin0904_win32_setup_RC1.exe
|
| |
Downloaded and setup 0904 on laptop ran fine with a 13 pix file. Repeated same on my desktop but failure when enblend started. Checked the files on both PC's and discovered that the laptop was calling enblend from 0902 (4450) which worked fine. The desktop was calling enblend from 0904, file size was ~1.122 vs 3.276 for the 0209 eblend file.... more »

Hugin misinterprets points and rotates the image chaotically...
|
| |
Hi, I'm using hugin Version 2009.2.0.4461 ( [link] ) by Pablo d'Angelo and... i can't seem to get things right. I'm getting all kind of results... from images bended in weird ways to "panoramas" that stick the last image with the first. Doing things manually doesn't help very much. I'm setting up all the... more »

no more autopano-sift-c in windows installer and new installer test version
|
| |
Hi all, I've been doing some thinking, and given that I'm currently based in the US, and so is Sourceforge, I decided I don't want to distribute software with patent issues anymore. Certainly not with my name on it. I changed the cpg-less version to default on sourceforge and removed the version with autopano-sift-c. If somebody wants to build and host... more »

? Feature request: reduced opacity ?
|
| |
Folks, Can anyone remember if being able to adjust the opacity of an image while manually moving images has been requested? It would be much easier to rotate and translate an image if you could see the image behind it. I'm thinking 50% opacity for every other image would be really useful. If it hasn't been requested, how are people dealing with the issue? I suppose it would be possible to adjust the transparency in Photoshop, align the images and then replace the semi-transparent image with the opaque copy before or after optimization.... more »

Plea for update of autopano-sift-c-2.5.1 tarball
|
| |
Could the README files in autopano-sift-c-2.5.1.tar.gz be brought up to date? They seem to bear little relation to the contents of the tarball, which does not have /bin or /src directories, and instructions for installation are so perfunctory as to be unintelligible to a non-expert. As one of these I was just guessing what to do:... more »

Hi all, I built an installer for win32 based on the 2009.04 tarball of hugin, enblend/enfuse release 4.0 binaries (new wrt 2009.02 installer), libpano SVN 1120 (same as 2009.02) and autopano-sift-c 2.5.1 (same as 2009.02 ). Some other changes: -more clear messages about autopano-sift patent. Default now installs... more »

Stitching error message
|
| |
I've been using Hugin for some time now mainly for panoramas, no problems. I am trying to create "islands" using a stereographic image, the preview is ok but when I try to create I get the following error message. "C:\Program\ Files\Hugin\bin\nona -z PACKBITS -r ldr -m TIFF_m -o stereo -i 0 C:\DOCUME~1\me\LOCALS~1\Temp\h ug37.tmp... more »

reusing lens info
|
| |
I have a P&S Camera, with a zoom lens; I take both "wide angle" type panos, and simple matrix style ones. Is there an easy way to reuse lens calibration figures (from "good" panoramas) as a source of data for panorama's taken under less good circumstances? I know I can (and do) save lens parameters in separate files,... more »
