I was wondering how enblend actually align the images. I noticed the output from nona are simple tif with an alpha-channel. I was expecting them to have the size of the panorama, making thus trivial the alignment, however this doesn't seem to be the case. Is enblend performing some form or cross-correlation to align the images or the information is hidden somewhere in the alpha-channel?
There is the information of the whole size somewhere there. If you want
common editors to see this, try to disable cropped images. In the Stitcher
tab go to nona options. On the screen that opens unset "save croped images".
