How to stitch two circular fisheye videos?

Hi all,

while I was testing my streetview rig prototype I also recorded a video.
It's 2x ~188 degree circular fisheye from 2 Canon A570 IS and Nikon FC-E8 lenses.
Camera at 5.8 mm (35mm equivalent). Conversion lens: x 0.21)

How to stitch this to a single equirectangular video using hugin 2009.4 on Linux?
I am a beginner and looking for a step-by-step guide.
All I tried failed miserably.

So far I managed to extract the frames, cut them to 422x422 pixel (thereby centering) and rotate them upright.
