hugin error (make)

make: *** Accesso negato.
. Stop.
make: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs....

i have always this error and hugin stuck.

i use windows home premium 7 64 bit and a laptop packard bell easynote
tj65 120-it

i run hugin with administrators rights

how is it possibile fix?

i use hugin 2011.4.0.cf9be9344356 built by Matthew Petroff

i use .jpg with 3008x2000

C:\Users\markx\AppData\Local\Temp this is the file path for temporary
work "the deafault windows system"

i dont change the names of the pictures... they are like DSC_1234.JPG

I have often had a similar issue on Windows Vista for several Hugin versions now. So much so that I don't use the assistant any more and I do all my panoramas by hand. The only difference is that instead of "Accesso negato", all I used to get was "Acc", the message was truncated. I did not report it because all in all I like doing it with the tabs, I feel I know better what I am doing and this understanding allows me to correct panoramas problems more easily.

But if it helps, here is a copy of the message I get with Hugin version 2011.4.0.cf9be9344356. This time, the message isn't truncated, I get a full "Accès refusé":

i think the problem is with vista/7 for some problems with rights and
acces to the folder....
anyway i use the 32 bit version because with 64 bit i had more errors
maybe the antivirus... i use comodo isp

now i change the folder for temporary work and at 99% everything works
good....

thanks for reply maybe with others people that has this error (make)
and post the possible fixes we can resolve

I also tried to change the folder for temp but building panorama always the same error message
does anyone know how to fix the problem?

- Hugin 2013 64bit b1 win
- Win7 prof 64bit
- Kaspersky Antivirus (KAV)

the only (not really a) solution is to switch off the Antivirus, when starting the stitching/blending batch process.

however none of the recommendation there seems to work for me

neither, nor:
1) setting the working directory: File > Preferences > General: Temporary dir
2) declaring Hugin and/or the temp directory as a trusted application/folder in KAV

I had this problem with Win7 64-bit O/S.

What I did was under "File" and then "Preferences" in Hugin then set the "Temporary Dir" under File Options to a new folder in any drive of your choice.  For example I did C:\Downloads\Temp.

Alternatively you can write click and change the file permissions of the file folder to uncheck "Read Only".  Both the Temp folder under "C:\Users\User Name\AppData\Local\Temp" and the "Home" folder under C:\Users\Home must be cleared of the Read Only permission before Hugin can start writing.

Having a TEMP folder of any sort set to Read Only? That sounds so silly!
What's the point of a read-only temp folder? They're for holding
temporary files used by applications that need a temporary file for
something; generally, to WRITE something to.

That sounds like something the AV software would do to prevent hostile
web sites or malware from stashing something malicious in the Temp
folder, then tricking Windows into running it. Somewhere in your AV
software is a setting that controls that.
