Hey, all. I would like to get your opinions on the different styles of
FiveFingers. I'm looking to get some soon but I'm not sure which style
to get. Which ones have you worn and what did you like and dislike
about them? Thanks!
individual preference for sure but I have a pair of each (except the flows) and by far the KSO's are the most comfortable for me--next the classics. I just bought the surges on clearance so can't give a full report--too warm for the summer--The kSO's have the comfortable feeling of the classics and the security of the sprints--hope this helps.

On the level of your thinking, you will find a great deal of resistance in the form of judgement, discontent, and mental projection away from the Now. On the emotional level, there will be an undercurrent of unease, tension, boredom, or nervousness. Both are aspects of the mind in its habitual resistance mode."

I favor the Sprints over even the KSO. I find the KSO allows my feet to move around too much (not as snug a fit on my feet I guess) especially when wet. I suppose Injinji socks might help with the fit.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. I'll probably be using them off-
road mostly (i.e. dusty mountain hiking). Those who have used the
Sprints off-road, have you had much problem with debris getting in
them?
I guess it all depends on the terrain. I have worn the Sprints for runs up to 50 miles here in New England without a problem. I imagine debris is more of a problem in some of the drier mountains out west. Just a guess.

Just to offer a different viewpoint: I have an atypical foot shape
(wider and thicker midfoot, shorter and stouter toes) and I have found
that the Flow are the only FFs that fit my feet. I simply cannot wear
the others. This does seem odd, since I assume that all the models are
based on the same footbed shape. But that's my experience: the Flow
model works, and the others don't.

Is the fitting philosophy different for the KSO? I've got sprints fitting like a glove, and have wondered about the next size up for KSO ... On Jun 25, 2008, at 8:16 PM, Steve-o wrote:
