+1 to coconut oil. I did a coconut oil (with some socks for bed)
treatment on my wife's feet a week ago. It helped immensely with just
one night of treatment. Her feet were dry and cracked so bad that they
felt like dragon scales. (Please don't tell her I said that...;)

If you don't want to eat more fat, at least try slathering some good
coconut oil on them once or twice a day. Wear socks if you walk on
anything slick though, or you will fall. :)

The recipe was olive oil and beeswax, from the Barefoot Sisters podcast.
50/50.  My Indian friend's father said they used vegetable oil as a salve
for cracked heels when he was growing up in India.

We've got two old threads under the subject "Cracked heels".
