So, I was going through my email on my cellphone this morning at like 5:30
AM, and I had just finished reading another email digest of this group. As
I was exiting my gmail program, I saw it for a split second:
*Huaraches on Steroids*
It took me several seconds to get back into gmail, and the whole time, I'm
thinking, "What the hell???"
When I finally got back in, I saw what had caused the confusion. I was
still groggy from having just woken up, and my mind was already thinking
about huaraches from having read the group email, and the words were in
close proximity, and the spelling was close enough, etc., etc. Anyway,
excuses aside, here are the titles of two consecutive emails in my inbox,
abbreviated exactly the way that gmail abbreviated them:
*Hierarchies on Steroids #1: Co...
[Minima...] Digest for huaraches...*
So, sorry, this post wasn't *actually* about huaraches on steroids. Just a
little morning humor.
And for the curious, the full subject of the "steroids" email was
"Hierarchies on Steroids #1: Convert an Adjacency List to Nested Sets
(SQLServerCentral 11/13/2012)". Yes, I'm a computer geek, so I'm on email
lists for a few different geeky sites.
