Check with Joe East Heating and Cooling; they're listed under
the "Stoves - Wood, Pellet, Coal, Etc." section (which is
where the listing for "Coal" redirects you) in the Yellow Pages.
If they don't sell it, they should know someone who does.
There used to be a place on Clinton between Governors and the
Parkway, but I haven't paid enough attention to notice whether
it's still there.
You can also try scrounging along the railroad tracks; coal
trains routinely lose a few pieces in transit.
