aka, tech olympics. Several "challenges" are set up to "test" students
(both individually and as teams) in tech work. I don't know what
tomorrow's setup is entirely, but I do know there will be a lighting
setup, knot tying, and more. I've seen: taping out a floor,
striking/setting up props, quick changing an actor, focusing a light
upon a wall, wiring a plug, setting up a sound system and more.

I took part in the tech challenge last year while at the festival. There was, along with what has been mentioned, folding a drop, and sewing a button. It was a lot of fun, and definitely got some of our (I went with my local high school) "non-tech" kids to try something new. Sadly I'm not at the festival this year, but if you see anyone from Alvirne High School in Hudson NH, that's where I'm from.
