Materials of Round Table on Political Prisoners in Russia
On February, 17th, a round table «Political prisoners in modern Russia. Issues and approaches» took place in «Memorial». Speakers were Oleg Orlov (HRC «Memorial»), Sergey Davidis (HRC «Memorial», Union of solidarity with political prisoners), Friederike Behr («Amnesty International»), Natalia Kholmogorova («Russian Social Movement»), Alexander Cherkasov (HRC «Memorial»), Zoya Svetova («The New Times»). Some participants as Valeriy Borschev, Valentin Gefter, Alexander Verkhovskiy, Vera Vasilieva, Sergey Kovalev, Alexandre Daniel, Maksim Gromov and others took part in discussions.
