I simply love the convenience of having my music anywhere I go, but I have been experiencing some dropouts and complete loss of audio while using Google Play. I never really noticed it too much until I was testing my 1201N for my upcoming California trip. Each time I try it, it seems normal, but at some point during shuffle play, or choosing an album to play, the audio will just stop while the song progress indicator keeps going.

I also use the Radio Player Live extension in Chrome to play internet radio stations and have no problem with it, so this just seems to be a Google Play problem. Is anyone else having similar problems?

I got an invite for Google Music and started using it then. Now it is Google Play. It has been my experience that it acts as you describe. Generally I have found if you just leave it as a background tab or minimize it, that it will eventually start playing the selected tune, but that could take many minutes.
