this is a newegg shellshocker deal this aft at 1pm pacific, for $20 after rebate.  looks too good to pass up.

looks like a couple of challenges are the VIA VT1705 audio chip, altho it looks like there may be a kext or two around for that chip, and the Atheros AR8151-B lan chip.  is anyone using a mobo with the atheros chip?

It as all the right features for now and in the future.

Audio is ALC892, so no issues there.

LAN is R8111, so no issues there.

Has the right slots. Also almost all the good stuff is built-in: 2 x SATA
III ports, 4 x SATA II ports, 2 x USB 3.0 on the rear, 2 x USB 3.0 on a
header for front panel use, CCC (ASRock's featured method of using either
a LGA 775 or a LGA 1156/1155 cooler), etcetera.

This is a 7-series mobo which is priced right in there with the 6-series
mobos.
