Next Wednesday I'm scheduled to have new internet service installed here. Comcast keeps getting more expensive (basic cable+internet) and requires one to resubscribe to the latest promotion to get the lowest prices, so I have decided to make a change.

I have also established a new email address to use for just such events and will probably continue using it even after the switch to maintain continuity. This will probably not be noticed by members, but I like to keep everyone informed as to how best to get a hold of me.

BTW, the new company I'm going with is MetroNet and I hope they work out better than Comcast.

Good-luck...I did the same thing re: Comcast. Every month it seems like I'd see an increase of some sort and I had no reason to believe the internet wouldn't go up as well. I had a good service experience with them honestly; I liked their product and the television, etc., was great...but billing...not so much!

I am up and running with MetroNet. I went to all the trouble of setting up an email address before I realized it's just a Gmail account. Service seems to be plenty fast, TV and internet. So far, so good. I may change my email on list again <hacki...@cinergymetro.net>, but I doubt it. This account I set up is doing just fine, so no real need to do so.

From the main system of mosslack...
