Hi all,

I'm a new user of Home++ and i have the following issue regarding
wifi. My wifi connection was alive, but then after a minute my phone
goes to sleep, and after a minute or so so does the wifi.

Usually if I turn the screen again, i shows that the connection has
changed from wifi to 3g, but after a while it will change itself into
wifi. But lately i found that if the sleep period is more than 15
minutes *not sure about this, but its definitely more than 5-10 min*,
when i turn the screen up, the connection will still be in 3g, and
will not change itself to wifi. I go into phone setting to ensure that
wifi is on. Yep its on, however the status was "Scanning". Ok so i
turn off the wifi, and tried to turn on again. at this time, my phone
just froze on me, and i have to pull the battery out for a restart.

I have use other home replacement (pantheon, dxtop, and launcher++),
and have not found the problem occurred in other products. I tried to
uninstall and install home++ again, and can confirm that it happen
again. I then uninstalled it, and install launcher++, the problem
disappeared.

any insight regarding this issue?

PS: is it a phone specific issue, FYI, i'm using samsung galaxy spica
(i5700) with eclair firmware.

i have exactly the same problem like you.when my screen turn off wifi
turn off too.but when the screen turn on the wifi don't turn on.the
wifi can't find spot and when i desactive and reactive wifi, my phone
freeze.i must pull the battery.
i have spica too with eclair firmware but does this problem concern
only this phone?
if i remove parameter /performance/safe mode i obtain less problem of
connexion wifi.
