howto verify with google webmaster tools

i'd like to take advantage of google webmaster tools
to better see how my howcasts are being googleboted
'can't figure out how to do this with either of the methods (html /
meta)
that google webmaster tools provide

if there is currently no feature to provide this capability,
Moderator, please forward such request as below to
the Hotcast change management channel:
(as it'd totally kick butt if on their profile page a hotcast member
could either,)
a) create / edit custom html template (and thus wedge the google
verification meta tag in there)
b) have an input box where they can add the google verification meta
tag (and maybe more???)
and / or
c) have an input box through which they can create the google
verification html file
