Subject: Google Toolbar 5 users - trouble accessing presentations
Hi everyone,

We're aware of an issue that causes Google Toolbar 5 users (IE only)
to see a blank page when initially opening a presentation, and are
working on a fix.

In the meantime, you can workaround this issue by leaving the blank
window open and reattempting to open your presentation. Your
presentation will then successfully load in the already open window.

Thanks to everyone for your reports.

Steve

I had a smilar problem.  In my case it resembled a pop-up blocker.  If
you hold down the ctrl key the editor will appear on another IE tab.

Hi everyone,

This issue has now been fixed. If you've been using Google Toolbar 5
for IE, please update to the latest version of this Toolbar at
http://toolbar.google.com/t5

Thanks for all of the reports!

Steve

Might you test the compatibility of the Google Toolbar with the
Firefox (for Mac) Bookmarks Toolbar?

After I installed the Google Toolbar, I no longer had a Bookmarks
Toolbar in Firefox.

I have to assume it was that installation that caused the bookmarks
I'd created in Firefox to be lost.

Thanks.

May I suggest you post your question in the Google Toolbar for FireFox
forum? You'll have a better chance getting an answer there:

Right, I'd already done that, without getting an answer.

One thing that seems to be lacking here is the ability to get directly
to the Google Team if you don't get satisfactory answers --
I mean an actual correspondence with someone, not just filling out a
form.

I understand all that you're saying but this help forum really is for
Google Docs, not for the Google Toolbar. I even doubt the Google Docs
Guides really can help you; other than referring you to a Google
Toolbar Guide. ;(
