Randos,

With the completion of this weekend's 600K in Brookshire Back Seat
Barbie (my wife Dana Pacino) has earned her Ultra Randonneur award.
That is quite a feat because she not only rode 15,400 Ks in brevets,
but she did it and put up with me.

Peace out,
Pimp Daddy (Gary Gottlieb)

Ben, I hope you had a good ride yesterday, is it now two out of three

Ken,
Yes, 2 0f 3, one completed in Oct and 1 in Nov. 10 more to go for R-12 but I'd rather just think of the next one.
Yesterday was a bit warmer and humid and I overdressed and under drank in the 1st 40 miles, gotta watch that.
I appreciate all of your hard work, and Bob's and whomever I don't even know of to pull this off.
Thanks,
Ben

Well done, Ben, and it's a good start.

Remember we have a 72 mile populaire next week out of Columbus, then a
200K and 300K December 12 from LaQuinta agian. Hope to see you there.

Ken,
I'd like to do the populaire but already commited to Independence Ride in Wallis.
Robert and I will try another 200K permanent the 1st weekend of Dec. I have an obligation for a party on the 12th, but if then.....you never know.
Thanks,
Ben

Ken,

I have ridden this populaire route before.  It is a nice route, but we have both committed to do the Independence ride.  Its for a good cause.

Robert

Gary and Dana.... Oh Yeah! That is just incredible! Congrats! You guys
are awesome cyclists! I enjoy all the tips you guys also offer on
these rides too!
It has been said "the mind can only absorb what the seat of the pants
can endure".....which makes you guys the smartest people I know!
Thanks again for pulling my tall butt through the 600k, just like you
did the 400k!
Take care

Congratulations to Dana, and to Mike Ryan. Dana a seasoned cyclist
with her Ultra and Mike who just began cycling and randoing, completed
his first series with this weekends 600. Gary, Dana and Mike you guys
make those long rides much more enjoyable and we'll do it again. In
the bag baby. Craig

If you have never ridden with Mike you sure should, soon. Just when things
start to get quiet, a big "Yeah Baby, that's what I talking about" comes
roaring out, I like it a lot better than military strength caffeinated gum,
for staying awake on the bike. Way to go Mike on your first series. DD

Hold on now. Mike hasn't finished his series. He still needs a
200K.

Gary is hosting on Dec 12 out of the La Quinta in Brookshire - great
chance to meet everyone and get a last ride in before the holidays.
