Below is a message from Pankaj Wadhwa of the La Quinta.  He and the rest of the staff have really bent over backwards to provide us with a fantastic place to stay and start/finish our rides.  Not only that, but he is hoping to do our 200K next month!

It would be really tough to improve on things at the LQ, but if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know offline and I will discuss with Pankaj.  Also, let's remember to be on our best behavior - we don't want to leave a mess or have the other guests complain about us!

I assume you mean the 600K next month, since I doubt if anyone will be
staying at the hotel for the 200K. :-)

Team bent members and friends,
This Saturday the Houston Randonneurs are having a ride out of the park and ride in Fulshear. Everyone is welcome from what I understand. It's a 110K, $5 for non members and free to members.Go to their website for more info.

Both rides start and finish at the La Quinta, whether you are staying
there or not. They provide a nice facility for ride registration, an
excellent breakfast buffet ($6 for non-guests), rest rooms, parking,
and a mini-store for snacks and drinks before or after the ride.

I will make a point of reminding riders for the 200K that breakfast
will be available at the inn. Do you know what time they start the
buffet?
