LSR (and HR),

A lot of us go to Brookshire to do HR brevets and take advantage of the LaQuinta Inn there. In the past they have bent over backwards for us, but I have a feeling those days are soon gone.

Today was the first day in many years that they refused to put breakfast out early on Saturday. I spoke to the lady on duty who has worked there for several years and she hinted that our reservations have been declining and frankly we have wore out our welcome.

What's next? Losing our HR discount? Not welcome to park our cars there?

Please consider this when you stay somewhere else in Brookshire that is a couple of bucks cheaper.

Plus the LaQuinta Inn has an very lucrative rewards program. Just about every fourth stay is free. We use our free stays in Austin where the rates are higher.

Thanks,
Gary and Dana

Back in February before the 400k, there was a wedding party in the hallway outside my doorway all night.  I complained about it, but they did little to stop the noise.

We felt the same way at Bessies this year. They gave us a lot of problems, and it is clear we are no longer wanted there. It seems they have picked up a great deal of wedding business, and although we were useful to them in times past, no longer.

LSR and HR,

This morning I talked to or rather begged Abraham and he put out breakfast at 6:10am.

I just talked to Erich and he said LaQuinta corporate is cracking down on early breakfast.

It looks like things are cool. Just book your rooms months in advance or better yet when the schedule is announced and you will get the HR discount. They are restricted on giving cheap rooms on busy dates with little advance notice.

I don't guess I knew there was an HR discount. Last time I checked,
it was around a $120 a night for a single, and the website is showing
"from $109" right now.
