Registration from 6:45 til 7:15 in the lobby of the hotel.
There are two routes - 200K and 300K. The routes can be seen on the
web site: 2010 Brevet Schedule.
Both routes go through Columbus with the 200K going on to Fayetteville
and the 300K going to Hallettsville and Flatonia.
I plan to drive the routes this weekend - since it will be waaaay too
cold for me to be on a bike. I'll report back on the road conditions
and will alert all the rabid vicious dogs along the way that some
juicy riders will be invading their territory.
Let me know if you plan to ride.
Ken.

Yes.

I'll be traveling next week, so I won't have time to prepare or ride
either the 200K or 300K. Will shoot for the 400K on Feb 6.

When in doubt, ride your bike!
As a new rider who finished Jan 2 about 9 minutes before sunset, I'd
like some help with planning my ride regarding being slowed by hills.
So, can anyone offer info about the Jan 16 terrain for the 200K versus
the Jan 2 terrain? I'd expect similar hills, but since I've never
biked that area, I'm just guessing. Guess I'll know for sure by the
time I get to Fayetteville.
I'm still working on my lighting investment decision for longer rides,
so I have to be careful on these short winter days with my be-seen
headlight.
Thanks,
David
