There are two music community events this week in Houston, both on
Tuesday night.

First, Mary Jane Hancock will be hosting the Houston Music Roundtable
at The Volcano (2349 Bissonnet). The topic of discussion will be
submitting music to a music supervisor for use in a new television show
(a paid opportunity).  Please bring music samples for the TV show intro
music; MJ will pick up samples and ask each musician to sign a general
release. The meeting starts around 7pm.

Second, Logan Bosemer (from the Misc. Music Group) is hosting a new
open mic / networking event at Cosmos (69 Heights Blvd.). She'll be
tending bar, and she promises to pour you a strong drink if you come
out. If you'd like to perform at the open mic, or want more info, email

Hit 'em both! Volcano kicks off around 7pm, and Cosmos around 9pm. I'll
be at 'em both, hope you will too.
