About 10 years ago, he decided to change the format for his show.
Instead of talking about business, he began promoting right-wing extremism.
A lot of people were getting very rich - including his close friends, Rush
Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilley.
For the most part, he focused on attacking immigrants - but often went on to
complain about other aspects of American society.
Because he had such a devoted and vocal following, CNN allowed the program -
often issuing disclaimers to say that his opinion was not theirs.
Finally, though, CNN has had enough.
After a brief conversation with the president of CNN, Lou Dobbs announced on
his program that he had quit.
He says that he's leaving to pursue other opportunities - but like with
Sarah Palin, no such opportunities actually exist.
He's told friends that he wants to run for President, as many of his
followers say he should.
But - as with folks like Ron Paul and David Duke, however VOCAL his
supporters are, they are too impotent to put him in office.
A similar situation came up a few months ago with CNN commentator Glenn
Beck.
In that case, however, Beck was able to land a job with Fox Broadcasting.
Dobbs, being older and much less comical, has no such safety net.
Get a haircut, FREAK!
Loud Obbs is a filthy racist warmonger whose jingoistic cheerleading only
appealed to the very lowest among us. It's high time that CNN came to their
senses and fired the stupid asshole.
Say Les, did you ever stop and count the number of subjects you cycle
through here?
And there are less since the Limey trolls got sick of you; no
matter...the repetitive boredom out of your festering piehole amounts to:
~ Hating Israel
~ Hating Sheriff Arpaio
~ Hating Harleys
~ Hating border enforcement
~ Hating queers and trannys
~ Hating D's and R's
~ Hating Christians
~ Hating Mormons
~ Making excuses for Palestinians
~ Calling anyone who disagrees with you a "nasty racist"...
That's IT Les!
That's the sum total of your usenet presence!
How sad, how predictably, boringly, mind-numbingly sad!
Toss in the vitriol you still harbor for your deceased alcoholic wife,
whose ashes you vowed to piss on, and your irrational, all-consuming
hatred for the English and that's the story of YOU!
Need I remind you which word comes up most frequently in this analysis?
Yes...HATE...
That's all you are Les, a seething, roiling sack of hatred.
I honestly pity you, you poor poisoned old git.
As will drug dealers, white slavers, and arms dealers. Point?

Collaborative software developer Yugma Inc. has closed on a new round

its Collabits software application.
Collabits, built by Yugma CEO Lingaraj Mishra and other employees as a

Yugma, a software company in Eden Prairie, is seeking less than $5
million in venture capital to commercialize its new collaboration

The three-employee firm is the brainchild of Lingaraj Mishra, CEO and
founder of MSL Group, an IT architecture and strategy company also
based in Eden Prairie.
The startup and MSL share only three employees today. Mishra plans to
hire five to seven new employees for Yugma by the end of this year.
Mishra, 47, is a native of India who has worked at some large firms in
the Twin Cities in the banking, hospitality and retail industries.
Mishra founded MSL in 1994. The employees, who do high-level strategic

The funny thing is that it even has Oprah's endorsement - and STILL won't
sell.
Normally, when she does for a writer what she's done for Palin, the book
sales skyrocket.
Yeah right.
"Advance sales push Palin book top
An autobiography by former US vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin
has jumped to the top of bestseller lists on the strength of advance sales.
The book, Going Rogue, was due to come out next spring but this week
publisher HarperCollins said its release had been brought forward to 17
November.
It is already the top seller on Barnes and Noble's website and
Amazon.com.
The title refers to claims that while on the campaign trail with John
McCain, Mrs Palin pursued her own agenda.
The autobiography, which was completed ahead of schedule in just four
months, was produced in collaboration with author Lynn Vincent.
It is the first to be written by Mrs Palin, who abruptly resigned as
governor of Alaska in July and has reportedly spent much of her time since
working on the 432-page book.
There has been speculation the Republican mother-of-five is
considering a 2012 presidential run.
Among the books she is outselling on the basis of advance orders are
Senator Ted Kennedy's True Compass and the new novel by Dan Brown, The Lost
Symbol.
HarperCollins says it has ordered an initial printing run of 1.5
million copies.
Mrs Palin shot to fame as Senator McCain's Republican running mate in
the presidential election of November 2008, becoming a lightning rod for
praise and criticism alike.
She is currently dogged by ethics probes and legal bills, but her
supporters defend her as an outstanding leader with a strong Christian faith
and unwavering support for her family."

"Palin book sales going rogue
Oct 1, 2009 9:55 AM
In less than 12 hours after barnesandnoble.com first offered "Going
Rogue: An American Life," Sarah Palin's new book for pre-publication sales,
it has hit number one on their chart. It's also now the number one best
seller at Amazon.com.
The book is so new that it doesn't even have a cover design, yet it
has generated serious buzz.
Easily the most anticipated book of the year, Palin and her publisher
HarperCollins surprised everyone when they announced that Palin had finished
her book already and the launch date had been moved to November 17 from it's
original Spring 2010 time period."

Oh, I get it! Mishra hired palin to be his maid, right?
===================
Yep, the " advance sales " were from various right wing and Republican
organizations.
I am starting to separate Republican and right wing because it is
possible to be a Republican without being a complete batshit crazy right
winger.
Very few individuals pre-ordered the book.
Very few individuals have bought the book.
98% of the sales were to organizations most of which are now giving away
a copy of the book when suckers donate.
> I am starting to separate Republican and right wing because it is

Right-wing doesn't really work either.
I mean - I know they like to associate themselves with the right by
attacking the left.
But they don't really believe in right-wing values, either.
They're just hecklers.
One term that does cover them all - Repubicans, Libertarians, Evangelicals,
right wingers and these anonymous hecklers - is "anti-government".
They each have their own individual reasons for hating the US government,
but they all hate it.
Go on,PROVE it!
> Right-wing doesn't really work either.
It would be a bit better to prove that you're rational at all. So far,
you're 0-for.

See Dumbfuckers Ignorant Of Simple Truth
"Sarah Palin's book bestseller before going on sale
By Martinne Geller, ReutersOctober 1, 2009
Sarah Palin's upcoming memoir is already the top bestselling book on the
shopping sites of Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble, a month and a half before
the book goes on sale.
NEW YORK - Sarah Palin's upcoming memoir is already the top bestselling book
on the shopping sites of Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble, a month and a half
before the book goes on sale.
The memoir from last year's Republican vice-presidential candidate, titled
"Going Rogue: An American Life," is scheduled for release on Nov. 17, four
months after the book deal was announced and much earlier than planned.
The memoir, which became available for pre-order this week, has been in
Amazon.com's top 100 for three days, and just replaced the latest novel from
"Da Vinci Code" author Dan Brown at the top of the list.
"It obviously bodes well that there's so much interest and excitement," said
Tina Andreadis, spokeswoman for HarperCollins, the book's publisher and a
unit of Rupert Murdoch's News Corp.
Andreadis declined to project the book's ultimate sales potential.
It is typical for highly anticipated books to jump in the bestseller ratings
as soon as they become available for pre-order, said Amazon.com spokeswoman
Sarah Gelman.
For example, Brown's book, "The Lost Symbol," topped the list immediately
after becoming available as a pre-order in April, she said.
"The Lost Symbol" is now the second-best-selling book on Amazon.com,
followed by "Arguing with Idiots: How to Stop Small Minds and Big
Government" by conservative commentator Glenn Beck.
Palin, 45, the conservative former governor of Alaska, became a household
name last year when Republican presidential nominee Senator John McCain
chose her as his running mate in the 2008 election campaign.
During the campaign she was criticized for being inexperienced and for
saying her foreign policy experience was strengthened by Alaska's geographic
proximity to Russia.
Palin resigned as governor in July, a move Andreadis said gave her more time
to write and contributed to the book being released before the original
spring 2010 timeline"

"...couldn't be given away.".
