Democrats Say They Clinch Deal on Health Care Overhaul

Senate Democrats said they had neared agreement Saturday on a
major overhaul of the nation's health care system, putting
them within reach of approving legislation by Christmas.

As the Senate convened in a driving snowstorm, Democratic
lawmakers and senior officials said a breakthrough came when
Senator Ben Nelson, Democrat of Nebraska, agreed after hours
of negotiation Friday to back the legislation, making him the
pivotal 60th vote.

They finally bribed nelson with enough of our money to pass this POS
bill the majority doesn't want.

Some people actually think this is "good government".

And most people don't give a rat's ass what you think about that. Deal
with that too, bitch. :)

Every poll shows rejection of this scam. It only stands to reason you
would throw your weight behind something the majority of Americans know
is a bad deal.

Hey what do you expect from Jaun, he loves getting butt fucked so this
is right up his ass and he loves it. Time for everyone in America to
get a jar of Vasaline and bend over. The Democrats have just fucked
America in the ASS and cost themselves the support of the American
people for a long time to come. Hell, even their Union friends know
they are getting fucked.

By making it worse than nothing. Key provision: attack on reproductive
choice, enrichment of greed-based insurance companies by forcing people to
buy from them, freebies FOREVER for Nebraska, and still no universal
coverage.

This is not health care reform. It is the private insurance company
protection act. Your buddy Benito defined fascism as corporatism, and that
is what forceing people to support private insurance companies is. Obama
never sent a health care reform package to Congress, but he will sign any
piece of crap that has health care in the title for the same reason he is
escalating the Afghaninam quagmire: he is an unprincipled opportunist who is
nothing more or less than Bush's third term.

Don't worry, nationalized health care will be instituted eventually if
Dem's retain power.

They know it has to be done incrementally, as has been done in
government education and other areas.

The long march through the institutions and the imposition of the
communist manifesto cannot be stopped. Marxism is too strongly ingrained
in this country, and the marxists are a very determined bunch - they
control one of the two major parties.

Yeah but it won't be during my lifetime and if the morons who follow
go that direction they will get what they deserve.

Actually, that's one of the least important issues.
It's just the one that partisans obsess over.
