Just now in San Francisco I woke up alone in bed with this single
question in my head: Did BOI* attorney & former H-bomb physicist
Robert Wooten Harris, now longtime resident of Albuquerque, New
Mexico, beat to death his wife, my semite Auntie Emily? Then, being up
in the wee hours anyway, I checked my email to find that the chosen
Spanish word of the day** seemed to be knocking on my skull.
Bob's the youngest of my late Ma's 3 sibs, she having been the first
born. Years ago already, Dr.Harris ruthlessly broke off all
communication with his entire blood family, including in this
exclusion his only child, who was in difficult circumstances.
Bob's older bro Brantly, a Harvard-educated attorney settled in
Houston, was named after their father, the mayor of the island under
FDR, who during the Atomic War aka WW2 died in his local office of a
heart attack. Unk Brantly's toothy grin over the assassination of Carl
Hampton flashed at me during the engagement party of Robert & Emily
(B.A. in English lit from Radcliffe) at the Sugarland home of the
latter's parents shortly after the murderous Fed/HPD ambush*** on July
26, 1970.
On the positive side OTOH: Around 1959 Brantly "illegally" but quite
openly gave me my first beer, a cold can of Budweiser fished from an
ice chest on a sunny day (like most of them by far) on Galveston Bay.
This steadying influence of family continuity undoubtedly helped to
stabilize the path of my rambunctious youth. Similarly on the upside,
Uncle Bob taught me how to make gunpowder. Together we fashioned a
pipe-bomb and then tested it against the barracks of a long-abandoned
coastal defense Army base. Our IED forerunner blew a small hole in the
interior wooden wall. 'Twas heaps of fun for a young teenager, as well
as a fateful arrow pointing to Bob's future career with the Sandia
Corporation as a plasma physicist specializing in H-bomb blast
effects [#4]. Now, I ask you, would a Perfect Southern Gentleman
strike his pretty lil' wife? To be continued?

eXperimental Publishing Protocol Under Total Surveillance:
Ordinarily & in the Ole Days I would put aside Rough Notes such as
these until such time as the Product was Finished and all the mere
hints well fleshed out. The Fabled Year of "1984" being now long past
us already, however, the Depotism aka the USGov & many other names of
the Devil (without offense intended to the Latter Party), plausibly
boasts of reading our every keystroke instantly it's tapped. So, since
the Most Wicked can right away see one's files, then mizewell make
them public, eh what? In other cases, certain commo exceptions might
apply WRT distinguishing layers of spies of JAR aka the Jewish-
American Regime.
Speaking of witch, it's Christmas Time! What calls for family tales
around ye olde camp fire aka monitor.
