XML Partner Synchronization Issues - Avoid Overbookings

Please remind that if your account is not well configured it can led to overbookings. We are developing an automatically way to inform you by email of synchronization problems with Booking.com and EXPEDIA but until is ready follow the procedure bellow.

 

To synchronize manually HotelASP and the Booking.com AGENT:


  • 1.       Map ALL room types and room rates at RATES & AVAILABILITIES \ PRICING MODEL \ MAP XML INTEGRATION;
  • 2.       Go to the agent view at RATES & AVAILABILITIES \ AGENT view;
  • 3.       Select all room types and room rates from the model tree (click “Save selections” to avoid doing this every time);
  • 4.       Press the button “compare system vs channel” in the BOOKING.COM and EXPEDIA agent;
  • 5.       Check all RED  fields and fill with the right values;
  • 6.       UNCHECK the “Send only Changes to Channel” – This will send to the partner the exact data you have filled;
a.       Note: By default this is checked and if there is sync problems between systems you will notice that changes in HotelASP will not be sent to the partner because when checked the system will only send the differences;
  • 7.       Press “SAVE & UPDATE XML”;
  • 8.       Select a new set of dates (+ 21 days) and repeat step 3 to 6 until everthing is synchronized.

 

 

IMPORTANT: Also check the MAX. STAY ARRIVAL restriction if they are all ok.
