My name: michael Domain name: continentalconcrete.net Hosting service: GoDaddy Error message I'm seeing: This post is marked as: Definitely need advice
Details: I went through all of the steps necessary to make the Email app active and functional including adding users, pointing the mx records, and confirming that I had done so. The dashboard went through the process of confirming, and currently says that the Email app is active. When I try to access the email through the web interface, it still says the service is not available. It says the service is not enabled. How can this be resolved? Thanks
it cant. its a server problem. ive got the same problem today with
multiple users on my domain.
Hopefully they will fix it soon. Probably realted to the 502 error
they had last week. my guess is the fix for that broke
google apps email for new registrations. lets hope they fix the fix.

This is shocking. I have exactly the same problem after signing up
today. The only reason I signed up was that my previous provider had
problems delivering mail. And now this. What *is* the definitive
solution for critical email? IS it Google? I can't afford to miss
emails. This is pi**ing me off.

Yep, exact same problem here.
Got email set up with four different users last night -- three of them
can log into email. But I, as the admin, get the "service not
available" page when I try and go to my inbox.
(Calendar, Docs, etc. working fine -- just email is giving the
problem, and just for my account)
Any solutions out there? This is kind of a problem since, by
switching all of our MX records, my old email account is no longer
functional, so I'm without email! :)
Same issue for me. EMail says Active but I still get the error that
it's not set up when I try to log in. Are there any other solutions
for a free e-mail service that I can use with my domain name?

Yes yes, I am having this exact problem right now. I have set up
Google Apps services for different domains in the past, and I've never
encountered this before. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

As the Google Apps administrator, I can log into the dashboard,
calendar, docs, etc. no problem -- but if I ever try to get to Gmail
for the domain by clicking on the "inbox" link, I get the "service not
available" message.
Note, this is only for the original administrator account I created
when I signed up for Google Apps. I can create new users, and go to
their Gmail screens without any problem.
Trouble is, the original administrator account is the one email
address I need to have working above all others....
This service is not enabled for sukigroup.com.sg. If you believe this
is an error, please contact your domain administrator or try again
with the following link.

Shawn, I just tried http://mail.skigroup.com.sg and was taken to a page where if I had an account I could log in. Please try clearing out the "cash" on your browser. Also try using IE or Google Chrome if you are using Firefox on anything other then IE or Google Chrome.

I'm assuming we still do not have a resolution on this as a domain I
have is encountering the same issue. I even removed email as a
service and re-added it thinking maybe my MX records had not had a
chance to fully propagate the internet routers. I removed and re-
added the mail service after allowing sufficient time for updates to
happen but I still have the same error as everyone else here. I read
in another group somewhere (sorry lost it and don't have a link) that
someone heard from a tech that it was/is a server glitch? Cannot
confirm. I might try to use the free trial to Premier and get some
phone support on this if it isn't fixed sometime today...maybe Google
just isn't fully aware that this is a major problem? Anyone else have
any insight?

I have the same problem for the Domain higietex.com.co,
mail.google.com/a/higietex.com.co says the "Service not available" in
the cpanel everything is active.
You can see the login page but when you log in you get this error
page.
Any help????

Hi admins,
Just letting you know that we're looking into this issue right now.
If you're experiencing this issue, please post your domain name here
so we can investigate.
Thanks for your patience,

Just migrated last night to google apps premier. MX records are all in
the green according to your own tool and mail is not routing to my old
mail servers.
Dashboard says Email is active. My account (the admin) cannot login.
Have not given link to other users due to the problems I've had.
I keep getting a "Service not available" message when trying to log
into https://mail.google.com/a/wakatara.com SSL is enabled... same
prob if I try to come in through the http;// link (which then changes
to https:// ).
Seriously not the best introduction to the service and I dearly hope
the mail is still being delivered to the mailboxes (imap import for
first account said it went off without a problem).

Able to login to CPANEL and make changes to the domain settings IE
Logo etc.
Cannot access webmail login page, says service is unavailable even
though users are able to POP/IMAP fine. Even after disable/re-enable
the service still no glory. Please help gmail.
