We’re sorry, but your Gmail account is currently experiencing errors.
You won’t be able to use your account while these errors last, but
don’t worry, your account data and messages are safe. Our engineers
are working to resolve this issue.
I have moved several of my web design/hosting clients to Google Apps.
I thought they could do a better job than my Plesk/Smartermail server.
I'm concerned that I might be wrong.
Calendars are also down. the only things we can reach are documents
and sites. Calendars are doing a redirect loop (firefox). Time to get
to gettin'. Hope it works soon!!!

I'm also out for at least 2 users. 2 different users from last week's
outage. Please fix soon or I'm going to have to migrate back to self-
managed email

IMAP access seems to work -- for SOME mailboxes and some labels/
folders. Spotty service. But I think I'm seeing my current e-mail
Inbox.
Please Google Apps folks... do you know whether IMAP works in this
situation? If it does, I can run around and setup IMAP access on a
bunch of PCs as a stop-gap measure.

Same issue for my domain. Putting contact info in the cloud is scary
when it evaporates into blue sky.
The administrator dashboard has the following msg:

This is literally my first day with Google Apps installed as our email
provider. What a way to wrap up an internship - finally rolling
everything to Google Apps, only to have a service outage. I'm hoping
we're not facing 18 hours of downtime... do it up Google!

Without seeming fatalistic, the uptime guarantee is 99.9%. Assuming
this figure refers to a period of one year, then we can expect the
service to be down for a maximum of 8.76 hours per year. Which means
there's only another 8.29 hours left for it to be fixed.

This is my first week with my company on gmail as well, not sure if
the boss has noticed this yet but he's noticed some other stuff that
if it continues I'll have some words in here about.
I'm kinda curious as to what the "five nines of availability" are that
the premium service advertises, but it seems like they're in the same
boat as the cheapskates at this point.

Lastly, if you already have POP or IMAP enabled on your account, you
can use a third party email client to send and receive email in your
Google Apps account.
Thanks again for everyone's patience, we're working as quickly as
possible to resolve this issue.
