As stated by Google, each account can currently send to 500 external
recipients per day. How many emails to those 500 external recipients
can be sent?
For example, if us...@googleapps.com has exactly 500 external
contacts, and sends them each a message at 9:00am, but at 10:00am,
user1 realizes that he forgot to attach a document to the emails.
Will user1 be able to send the second email to all 500 external
recipients?
That's 1000 emails, but only 500 external recipients. Is this
scenario within Google's limits?
I believe the limit is 500 individual emails per day. Sending 2
emails to the same recipient's counts as 2 emails. So no, you won't
be able to send the 1000 emails.
I don't believe gmail/Google Apps domains bypass this limit. The word
"external" may simply mean "an email other than yourself."

Here is my response from Google. It'd be nice if they would share
this with everyone...
Hello Andy,
Thanks for your message.
Here is a list of some of the sending limits in place on your account:
- 500 messages per day (i.e., you can hit 'Send' a maximum of 500
times)
- 500 unique recipients
- 2000 total emails (for example, you could send one message to a
group of 500 people four times)
Please note that there may be additional factors which slightly raise
or lower these limits, but this should be a good general guideline.

I tested this about a week ago and it appears that my gmail sending
power was blocked at 500 email recipients. I.E. I sent an email to 500
recipients. Then I tried to send a different email to a couple of
folks that were in the original set. I was not able to email them or
anyone else new. It took less then 24 hours for sending to work for me
though.

Are these limits on the entire Google Apps Account as a whole, or for
individual users within a Google Apps Account? If I have 50 users on
a single Google Apps account for domain 'mydomain.com', are these
limits set on each user within that domain, or is that a global limit
on the entire domain?
