Dear HBCA Members,
Please take a moment to read the important e-mail I am sending you from Hennepin County. I have served on the HC Emergency Preparedness Committee for several years as their (only) layperson/community member. This year they have asked that I help them connect with the business community so I am passing this survey along to you. It really is in your best interest as businesses to consider the issue of emergencies and how well you and your staff may be prepared.
I have also given Hennepin County a contact at Twin West, so I hope our response outshines theirs. (Nothin' like a little competition, eh?)
Thanks,
Fran Hesch
Dear Community Partner – Over the next several months, the local health departments of Minneapolis, Bloomington, Edina, Richfield and Hennepin County hope to involve you and other local leaders in some important community health improvement initiatives. Some of these will focus on emergency readiness while others will address broader community health issues.
We are starting by asking for your input with this brief emergency readiness survey http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/EmergencyPreparednessCommunitySurvey. Discussions about issues identified in this survey will follow in the next few months.
This on-line survey should take about 10 to 15 minutes to complete. All responses will be combined and used only by the participating local health departments to support future local emergency preparedness plans. (Feel free to forward this email to others you know who might also be interested in responding.)
Please complete the survey between now and January 31, 2012. By doing so, you will be included in a drawing for an emergency preparedness related prize for your organization. Simply click on the link above to start the survey.
Also please note: If you receive this email more than once, please take the survey only one time. If you have questions or technical difficulties, please contact HennepinPu...@co.hennepin.mn.us.
Thank you for participating. You input is highly appreciated.
Respectfully, Susan Palchick Senior Administrative Manager, Public Health Protection Hennepin County Human Services and Public Health Department Sent on behalf of the five community health boards serving Hennepin County.
