Dear Yakkers,
can someone help me to identify the ***following compound(s)***:
特公昭54-4978号公報には、ポリフェノールのポリグリシジルエーテルと
***2-エチルヘキサノールハーフブロック化トルエンジイソシアネート/ジメチル
エタノールアミンの酸塩付加物***が開示されている。
This is from the state of the art sectioon in a kokai
related to epoxy resin (EP) compositions for water-borne
coatings and JP-B 54-4978 obviously refers to a "resin
composition" perhaps also used for paints. It is quoted
as an example for one-component EP resin compositions
that usually comprise an EP resin or prepolymer and
blocked (or partially blocked) isocyanates.
So, I can guess that 2-エチルヘキサノールハーフブロック化トルエン
ジイソシアネート is "2-ethyl hexanol half-blocked toluene diisocyanate"
but what is ジメチルエタノールアミンの酸塩付加物?
Does it mean that salts formed by dimethyl ethanol amine with
arbitrary acids are 'added' to the aforementioned isocyanate or
is it totally different?
TIA,
Uwe Hirayama
