Job description:
Established law firm in Phoenix, AZ needs licensed attorneys fluent in Japanese to conduct a document review project. Qualified candidates will be reviewing documents in Japanese and translating them into English, as well as assisting in reviewing documents for privilege and relevancy. This is a great opportunity to use your language skills in a legal environment.
Required Experience:
• Active bar status in any state is preferred
• Fluent in Japanese
• Availability for at least 2 months
• Temporarily relocate to Phoenix, AZ
• Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
• Must be able to work at least 40-45 hours a week

Job Requirements
• Bilingual, with 3 or more years of editing experience in technical field, especially semiconductors
• Familiarity with steppers/scanners desirable, as is knowledge of Trados software
• Excellent English/Japanese communication skills required
• Interested in keeping up with technology in the field
• Available to visit office in Belmont, CA (to ask questions, gather information, provide term support)
