I tried it out by creating a blank translation memory (TM) and a new
glossary memory (which I created in Google Docs as a .csv spreadsheet
file). As far as I can tell, I selected options so that neither of these
memories will be shared (perhaps depending on what Google defines as
"shared"), although the options to share and collaborate are obviously
the strong points where Google is concerned.
I'm considering trying it out on some Wikipedia articles as a way to
keep track of GTT's improvements and as a way to keep in touch with a
wider range of subject matter than I come across in my day to day
translation of patents.
Anybody else have experiences with this?

Please keep us updated. I think that things like Wikipedia are perfect for GTT, along with localization of open-source software, and other wikis.
