Aloha friends
I am planning to be on Oahu for some meetings friday/saturday next week.
I would like to talk with the HiCap folks about the SpaceGAMBIT project
and see if we can scare up some participation... who wants some grant $?
Would Thursday evening be a possible?

What time shall I plan to meet up with you folks?
I need to figure air travel.
My meeting sat/sun is over by the airport (nearly in the airport) so I also need to figure on surface transport to HiCap.
I'm looking into hotels, etc... unless someone over that way has a couch to surf.

I can pick you up from the airport after 4PM, we can meet everyone else after 7PM. I won't be able to offer up space this time though :( (I have stuff needs to be put into storage)

That sounds pretty good.
I've been looking into airport area hotels.
There are several not too expensive. however one of them has reviews complaining about drug users, prostitutes, etc.
yecch.
My other activity for weekend is to go to the Woodcraft Store on Sunday for their tent sale.
I have some large items there that need shipping here and thought I'd add a couple smaller ones to reduce overall paid to Matson.

Cool. I made reservations this afternoon to arrive just after 4pm.
send me your cell number just in case I have misplaced it.
Nicole Hori has offered me a place to stay (spare room) for the couple nights I will be there.
Apparently she saw the HiCap post and is also going to attend the Futures conf on saturday.
Do you know her?
I hope she & brother are cool as I accepted the invite.

I can fully vouch for Nicole and her brother and I know it will work
out splendidly. I would have offered a space myself (I'll be at the
conference as well) but I just moved a few weeks ago and am still
getting to know my roomates.
