I've not heard of this project until I happened upon it on my Kickstarter Dashboard.  As an avid Nginx admin, I couldn't help but notice the huge honking Nginx Logo on this project; and was quite surprised to see that it was listed under "Honolulu Projects", versus my usual KS stomping grounds in the Technology areas.

Just spreading the word.  IMHO, HiCap is ideally suited for networking and outreach within our local technology community, especially when it comes to OpenSource developed in our own back yard.

Not getting much interest though - might be interesting to invite Justin to give a talk about it

Yeah, the idea of building a CPanel alternative is compelling; but I'm going to wait for Neon to mature a bit more.

The project is daunting enough with an ambitious roadmap.  It sets off my coder spidey-sense a bit because it's crafted upon their homebrew PHP framework, versus using a more common framework that other PHP coders (potential collaborators/contributors) would already know.

For now, I'm cheering it on because it's a possible alternative to CPanel, and because it's a local (Hawaii based) effort.

Good afternoon everybody! Sorry for the late notice but I actually invited the creator of this project, Justin to come out and speak to us on Thursday at 7PM. I'll draft up a formal email and eventbrite and send those out soon.

Awesome!  I'd love to pick their brains a bit to get a better understanding of their design.  Thanks for setting this up.

Hey guys,
I have to reschedule this as it will interfere with the New Tech Meetup night that Box Jelly is hosting. I'll work Justin on rescheduling this for next week.
