HAC: An invitation to experience Art

The 70th Annual Royal Poinciana Fiesta is the oldest running festival in South Florida. The Fiesta will take place June 11 at 6:00 pm at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden in the Garden Room, 10901 Old Cutler Rd.
There will be free entry into the Garden, a free a tram tour of Fairchild available, Live Jazz Music, Wine, Cheese and light refreshments. Watercolor Artist Terry Mulrooney will have a solo display of her art work. Her painting, Poinciana Close Up has been selected for the official poster of the event. All proceeds of the poster sales will go to the Queen and Court of the Fiesta in scholarships. A portion of Terry's Sales of her artwork will also go towards the scholarships.
The Tropical Flowering Tree Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and preservation of tropical flowering trees. Founded in 1988 in Miami, they meet regularly at Fairchild and sponsor the event. For more information about the Organization here is their link: http://www.tfts.org/local%20events.htm
