Hello , I just joined

Hello all, I just joined, I am also new to Google groups.

My name is Julie, I am a disabled 44 year old mom of two teens, we have
home schooled for ten years,my kids are Jr High level, since we have
homeschooled from the beginning, it's all we know.
We currently use Switched on Schoolhouse for our lessons.
Looking forward to many good discusions here!

Welcome Julie My name is Jennifer Tims I just pulled my son out of public
school. To do homeschooling. He is looking forward to it. He doesnt like
that I still want him to keep up on his skills he learned in third gradre
for the summer. Since he is starting the Homeschooling his fourth grade
year. I live in Az. I have done summer homeschooling for him since
pre-school during the summer this year it is my first time doing during the
fall so I am scared and nervous. His learning skills are all over the board
he is behind in some subjects ahead in others and right on target for
others. I have alwasy been behind in most of my subject because I was in
Special education but I am willing to learn with him. I am excited and want
to do this. I am also disabled I have Asthma and Bipolar 2. But My mind is
not disabled even the mother in law thinks it is. She thinks I am to stupid
to teach her grandson and doesn't support me on doing the homeschooling. My
husband does and alot of my friends are willing to help where than can.
