I <3 Cornell University. They have so many wonderful programs for
small growers. This page is a great resource.

with diagnosing tools for strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, blackberry
and ribes.

Unfortunately, my issue did not come up. I'm noticing something in one
of my strawberry patches that occurred last year in some of the older
beds I have -- strawberry fruits that ripen up with a faint, whitish
bloom on them. It can't be rubbed off and it is coarsening the skin
under it very slightly. It doesn't look like a fungus from the Cornell
site, but it's not a normal, happy strawberry either. Anyone have
experience with this? It may just be time for me to plow this bed
under.
