Group ordering of garden supplies

As planting time comes closer, I am thinking about garden supplies. In
particular, for the Foothills Unitarian Church garden we will be
ordering drip tape, soil, and straw. In the spirit of sharing costs by
bulk ordering like we do with seeds, what about the following?

The Unitarian garden needs 1000 feet of drip tape, with 4" spacing, 10
mil thickness which is about $45. They do sell 3000 foot rolls for $85
if others want to share.
We ordered 8 cu yds of compost/topsoil mix last year from Weitzels.
Delivery is fairly expensive. If we can organize a truck, maybe
several of us could share the costs.
We ordered 25 bales of straw last year from No. Co. Feeder's Supply.
Again, delivery is fairly costly, and maybe we can share again.
The Foothills Unitarian Church is located near Taft Hill and Drake,
and we could serve as a drop of point for a bulk delivery, and then
others could come and get their portion.

I could use some drip tape, so consider me 'in' on a portion of that. Have to think about how much.

Thanks for posting the offer to share! I am interested in the compost/
topsoil mix. Did you use the mix for top dressing or new beds and how
far did it go? We want to put in some new beds and don't really know
how to estimate it. If a truck was rented for that, maybe it could
also be driven to the individual addresses of those who order it. The
less dirt moving the better! I know we could use 1 cu yard and
possibly 2? Drip tape would be good too but only about 200 feet I
think but need to do my math....j
