A Call For Volunteers!

There is still time left to volunteer to work a shift at the Midwest Fiber and Folk Art Fair.  The Fair will be held June 21-23 at the Lake County Fair Grounds in Grayslake, Il.  On Friday and Saturday the fair will open from 10am until 6pm.  Sunday fair hours are 10am-4pm.  We have been given the opportunity to have a booth at the fair.  We would again give short lessons in spinning on a drop spindle and have our spindle/fiber packet for sale.  The Friday and Saturday shifts are 10am-2pm and 2pm-6pm.  Sunday shifts are 10am-1pm and 1pm-4pm.  We have wrist bands avilable for up to nine guild members who would be working the booth.

Let me know if you would like to volunteer.   We need to let Carol know in the near future.  As part of our agreement with her, we need to staff our booth for the full time the fair is open.
