Much needed colder temps have arrived and all we need is more snow.
Many clubs are working the trails and still removing downed trees from
the early season snow.
Some gates are still closed. Riders should use extreme caution.
Caution must be used as there is open water bars. Conditions are early
season.
Riders should avoid open bodies of water and stay off of ice.

Coos County
Pittsburgh- 90% open 4"-16" of snow. 0 Base. Riding is fair to good.
Shared logging rd on Tr 141, 142 & 143
Colebrook- 100% open Trails are packed. Rail grade from Colebrook to W
Stewartstown (Corr 5A) Closed
Diamond Pond/Coleman State Park - 90% open 6" of snow. Trails are
packed, riding is moderate.
Errol- 2-3 " of snow 50% open. Trails are packed and riding is
marginal to moderate North of Rte 26 closed to a temporary logging
operation on Corser Brook Rd. Club is still signing.
Cambridge- 2-4" of snow all trails are open. Trails are packed and
riding is marginal to moderate.
Milan - 2-4" of snow all trails are open. Trails are packed and riding
is marginal to moderate.
Twin Mtn - Limited riding, packing trails. Riding is marginal to
moderate.
Jefferson - Rail Trail open for riding. Notch Road closed.
Franconia notch- closed
Berlin - 2-6" 50% open. Trails are packed and riding is marginal to
moderate
Gorham - 3-4" snow 10% open. Trails are packed and riding is marginal
to moderate. Corr 19 Gorham North closed due to logging.
Lancaster- 0-4" snow 75% open. Trails are packed and riding is
marginal.
Carroll County
Bear Notch/Bartlett 6-12" snow 2-4" base rolled (RR tracks do not
open until the 4th of January)expect open water bars and fair riding.
Watch for mushers and cross country skiers.
Sandwich notch 6-12" snow not groomed,ice on lakes and ponds not
safe. Keep off
Chatham. 6-8" snow track packed riding poor 1-3" base
Ossipee 6-8 inches snow gates open riding poor,rr tracks not
covered enough to groom yet.not groomed
Conway 6-8" snow no grooming RR tracks are open but not covered
enough but gates are open.riding poor
Castle in clouds 6-10" east side rolled, 2-4" base,unfilled water
bars, logging at white brook, West side 3-5" snow 1-3" base.
Trails around moultonboro not opened at this time.
Grafton County-
Lisbon- 4-6" Snow- the corr. 5 trail gates are open--- Riding is
considered marginal, With Ice and bare spots--- Grooming will resume
when we have sufficient snow cover.
Other trails open with limited riding. Check clubs websites for for
information.
Belknap County- Limited riding expect fair conditions. Check clubs
web sites for more information.
Merrimack County- Limited riding expect fair conditions. Check clubs
web sites for more information.
Strafford County
New Durham/Powder Mill 60% Open 8" snow cold is helping trail, some
traffic and trails are mostly fair. The club is not grooming.
Corridor 22 From Johnsons to 28 CLOSED
Jesse Mountain CLOSED OPENING FOR MONDAY
Moose Mountain CLOSED
Rockingham County- No Report
Hillsborough County- No Report
Sullivan County-
Claremont and Surrounding areas- 12" of snow over the last week.
Limited local riding with partial trail openings.
Unity/Ackworth- Some trails open, no grooming at this time.
Cheshire County-
Pisgah State Park- Primary trail is packed, Reservior trail has not
been packed. all other trails not touched, riding is poor.
Rail Trail-
Andover- Groomed and heavy traffic lots of ice 4-6"
Gates on the Rochester Farmington Recreation Trail have been opened.
Rockingham Rec Trail- Closed
Presidential Rail Trail- Open for riding. Gates opening this week.
Rail bed, Whitefield to Groveton closed
Pisgah and Ashuelot Rail Trail- 4" of snow
Sugar River Rail Trail- 6" of snow. Open for riding
Rail grade from Colebrook to W Stewartstown Closed
