Subject: SimpleText folder support or turn off the warning message.
I wanted to put old, irrelevant notes in the SimpleText folder into a
subfolder that could be named: "xArchives." However, when I do that I
keep getting SimpleText errors saying that some files can't be synced
because they aren't plain text files. I am aware that a folder is not
a plain text file. I would like a feature to turn off or ignore
messages like that or to support folders inside of SimpleText.

Also, do you plan to support file tagging in SimpleText like TaskPaper
for the iPhone does?

There's a defaults key "IgnoredFileNamesDefaultsKey". If you add the
folder name to that list then it should be ignored on sync.

Yes eventually, though I'm not sure when it will happen.

Thanks for the info. Plan on integrating the ignored files/folders in
the SimpleText UI? That would make it much easier for people like me.

Maybe long term, but generally I just want the message to be "just
store text files". If I stared adding ignore these files regular
expressions to the UI I think that will scare many people who don't
even need the feature.
